The Greek islands rightly has the well earned   reputation for it's unspoiled simplicity, but many people miss out, overlooking the Peloponnese, The Peloponnese is a huge land mass with    mountains which means that it always takes longer than you think to get around. But It's the unspoilt heart of Greece with a mythical past, Peloponnese today is unspoiled patchwork of mountains, stunning gorges, lush green valleys and meadows with wild flowers with it’s beautiful coastline and mountains, you can either drive from Athens cross the Corinth Canal, or alternatively you can fly direct to Kalamata and avoid the long journey from Athens. With it’s olives, oranges, cypresses and history the Peloponnese has everything and also includes the ex capital of Greece (Nafplio) the city-states of Corinth and Sparta.
